[ send me this paper ]
This is a 6 page book review of Burka and Yuen’s 1983 text “Procrastination: Why you do it, What to do about it” which provides an excellent overall review and practical knowledge of the understanding of procrastination and what can be done to overcome it. The authors outline each fear and provide adequate examples from real life and professions useful to the readers who may see themselves in similar situations. Finally, the authors provide some techniques on how to overcome the procrastination cycles which include taking an inventory of consequences, setting and achieving goals, time and organizational management and enlisting support. Cognitive Processes Relating to Sensation and Perception and How They Affect Thinking
[ send me this paper ]
This 7 page report discusses the fact that thinking, sensation, and perception are intimately linked and yet undeniably distinct from one another. One influences the other but one does not necessarily define the objective reality of the other. One of the most amazing examples is that in which an individual feels a great deal of pain in a leg or an arm that has actually been amputated from the person’s body. Is the sensation or the perception any less real even though that person understands that the limb is no longer part of him or her? However, other examples are equally valid and briefly presented in the paper. Bibliography lists 6 sources.

Comparison Of Three Journal Articles
[ send me this paper ]
A 5 page comparison of psychological journal articles addressing extroversion and introversion. Three articles were selected, two from The Journal of Psychology and one from The Journal of Genetic Psychology. The first discussed is an investigation of the reliability of models of determining general personality traits. The second attempts to establish a link between introversion and depression; the third investigates the possibility of a statistical basis for personality traits as indicated by the signs of the zodiac. All of the studies seem to be designed as well as they could be in their areas of investigation, but all seem to conclude that apart from neurosis of either introversion or extroversion, the existence and the description within the individual remains subjective and its definition elusive.
