Papers On Two Gentlemen Of Verona

Inconsistencies Found in Shakespeare’s “Two Gentlemen of Verona”
[ send me this paper ]
This is a 5 page paper discussing the inconsistencies found in “Two Gentlemen of Verona”. Considered one of Shakespeare’s earlier plays, “Two Gentlemen of Verona” contains many elements which are typical of his works such as two couples courting, deception, betrayal and women disguising themselves as men. What makes critics believe that this play was written during Shakespeare’s early years is that in addition to many of the shorter dialogues which seemed to lengthen the more plays he wrote that there are many inconsistencies within the play that slightly baffle the reader or the audience members leading critics and educators to believe that this seems more of a work of an apprentice of the art of playwriting rather than that of a seasoned master. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
